Grape varieties: mostly Procanico but also a small percentage of native white grape varieties of Lake Bolsena

Alcohol: 13% vol

Volume: 0,75l

Wine making: destemmed grapes; spontaneous fermentation with maceration on the skins for two weeks in amphora

Aging: about one year in 500 liter terracotta amphorae not buried and not treated inside; no addition of sulphites, clarification or filtration

Serve at: 10-12° C

About him: the experimentation of the amphora, even if it's not part of the Le Coste tradition, stems from the curiosity of Gianmarco and Clementine to see how the vines and the territory are expressed through terracotta and its micro-oxygenation, obviously remaining a neutral container in terms of taste. This experimentation already started in 2015 and having obtained good results, even with the 2019/20 vintage it was decided to repeat the experiment always trying to highlight the crunchy fruity note of the grape, with the dark and mineral earthiness that distinguishes the Gradoli terroir. Mission done!!!
