Wine making: strictly hand-picked grapes, then de-stemmed and pressed with spontaneous fermentation in steel tanks by indigenous yeasts present on the skins. Maceration on the skins for about two / three weeks

Aging: in steel for one year and 18 months in old exhausted tonneaux; no clarification, filtration or addition of sulphites.

Serve at: 16 °C

Food matches: it perfectly accompanies all the typical dishes of Italian cuisine!

About him: the wine dedicated by Battista to his grandfather does not change the label for the new vintage, but rather the content, lightening its body and fullness of flavors and acquiring a lot of freshness and drinkability. Unlike previous vintages, this was conceived by carrying out only a light pruning of the vines and harvesting the grapes earlier than in the past in order to obtain a super vibrant and refreshing juice. Red fruits as much as it can, delicate tannins, a lot of salinity and above all a great desire to immediately fill the glass again!
