Reds, dense in pulp and with persuasive tannins, but with a unique vitality that only natural wines can have even after years of relax in bottle. Classic macerations or in carbonic for several weeks in order to obtain juices full of sensations and matter. Ready for next winter!?!?
Here are our proposals in naturally red colors:
Sangiovese 2019 Massa Vecchia - grapes from two different parcels, the historic Querciola and the younger Fornace; spontaneous fermentation with maceration on the skins for about three weeks in oak barrels.
Brutal 2021 Alchimia - Montepulciano with 7 days of maceration with 20% of the whole bunch mass
Le Capannacce Rosso 2019 Il Vinco - Grechetto Rosso from Lake Bolsena with about seven days of maceration
Roumanie Tout Court 2013 La Sorga - Grenache (vines over 40 years old) and Alicante macerate together for ninety days in whole bunches (30% of the mass), then Cinsault (from vines over 80 years old) is added to the maceration. so that everything remains in infusion for another sixty days.
Rosso dei Sesi 2021 Abbazia San Giorgio - Pignatello or also known as Perricone of the Island of Pantelleria; maceration for 15 days with aging partly in steel and partly in old chestnut barrels
Fusion 2020 No Control - half Gamay d'Auvergne from vines ranging in age from 15 to 110 years and the other Gamay from Beaujolais; maceration in part in whole bunches while the other part in carbonic; in total about three weeks of maceration on the skins. Aged partly in steel and partly in large old wooden barrels.
