Jura! Historic cuveè of an historic vintage by Charles Dagand and his domaine Carlito! Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from vineyards near the village of Abergement-le-Grand which is located a few kilometers west of the main town of Arbois. The Pinot Noir (one third of the blend) is pressed quickly to obtain the minimum release of color from the skins, as is the Chardonnay. Fermentation for this wine was very slow due to Charles's very cold cellar, in fact it lasted all winter! After the two wines fermented separately, they were blended and left to relax in steel until bottling. Multifaceted wine, full of white pulp fruits, minerality, juiciness and drinkability, always vibrant and stunning with every sip. A super wild portrait of the Jura!!!
