Hands up! The Savagnin in a dress of pure and balanced elegance!!! Blending of grapes from all the Savagnin plots of the Domaine, precisely 53% of Savagnin Jaune and 47% of Savagnin "vert gel" of the 2017 vintage where unfortunately most of the harvest was lost due to frost. Direct pressing without contact with the skins and aging for about 15 months in various wooden barrels. Initially shy, it opens after a few minutes, expressing the best of itself on the palate, with notes of candied and toasted fruit, a delicate minerality and a long and spectacular finish. Super nice!!!
