Here is the Vermentino in orange wine style, or better named macerated white wine, from the Massa Vecchia house. About three weeks of contact with the skins and then relax for an year and half in old oak barrels and then six months in the bottle.
Balsamicity and tannins still very present for a wine that denotes a super aging potential. A few minutes after opening, it releases aromas of white pulp fruit, flowers and herbs and then closes in eucalyptus and honey; sensations all corresponded in equal measure also on the palate where it's distinguished also thanks to a splendid marine sapidity and notes of the Mediterranean scrub typical of the splendid microclimate where the vines reside. Complex and exciting as never before!
