Anigma 2020 Jean-Marc Dreyer
code: B880 - JEAN MARC DREYER, Red Wine
Winery: Jean-Marc Dreyer
Viticulture: natural! Made as it once was!
Region: France - Alsace
Grape variety: 100% Pinot Noir from old vines
Alcohol: 13,5% vol
Volume: 0,75l
Wine making: spontaneous fermentation with semi-carbonic maceration
Aging: in old oak barrels for about two years; no clarification, filtration or addition of sulphites
Serve at: 16-18 °C
About him: only Pinot Noir in the Anigma 2020 version (in the previous ones there was also a pinch of Gamay).
This is in any case one of Jean Marc's best cuvées, where he expresses all his love for this noble grape variety. The grapes harvested and macerated in semi-carbonic well extracted a lot of matter and richness from the skins, with very fruity notes, making the vintage a success in terms of quality.
It has a flavor that is a concentrate of fruit, it's deep and rich, with a pleasant acidity and also notes of liquorice and tobacco leaves which in the aftertaste create a luxurious sensation similar to a Nuits Burgundy wine.
Delicious if you drink it now, but it has the potential to age for a long time, and it's a rare wine with only a few in stock, so if possible, it's a special wine that you'll want to let it rest in the cellar for a while before drinking it.
