Winery: Ombretta Agricola
Viticulture: artisans made like they used to be!
Grape varieties: Verduzzo Trevigiano, Cabernet Franc
Alcohol: 11% vol
Wine making: spontaneous fermentation with short maceration on the skins for Verduzzo, while Cabernet Franc is pressed directly; then follows the refermentation in the bottle
Aging: in old wooden barrels for a few months, plus one year in bottle; no addition of sulphites, no filtered or clarified
Serve at: 6-8 °C
Food matches: excellent as an aperitif but also with pizza, fresh cheeses and mixed cold cuts
About him: the rosé version of the Ombretta house, obtained with the use of briefly macerated white grapes and directly pressed red grapes. More important bubble than white, with aromas that refer to citrus fruits such as lime but also grapefruit and red orange; the flavor is not lacking, as well as a super acidity that cleans the palate and invites you to drink. Another Pet Nat that you absolutely must have in the cellar during the summer!
