About him: this wine with characteristics that fully reflect the tradition, is obtained from pure Nebbiolo grapes from vineyards grown with the guyot method on small terraces, very steep, at an altitude that sometimes exceeds 500 meters. The sandy soils, rich in shale and quartz on which the vines are planted, combined with the great temperature variations of the area, ensure that this red maintains an exceptional finesse even after several years of aging.
Bright ruby red with garnet nuances. Intense aromas of ripe red fruit and wild berries appear on the nose, including cherry, black currant and blackberry, floral aromas of violet, red flowers and dried flowers, notes of wild spices and sweet spices, including chocolate and tobacco. In the mouth it's warm, energetic and vertical, with smooth tannins and a nice sour texture. The finish is long and harmonious with floral and mineral touches. Pizamej, a balanced, graceful and harmonious Valtellina wine!
