Wine making: spontaneous fermentation with short maceration on the skins for 12 hours in steel for Sauvignon and Pinot Blanc; the Zweigelt is instead pressed directly; then follows the refermentation in the bottle
Aging: in steel and bottle; no addition of sulphites, no filtered or clarified
Serve at: 6-8 °C
Food matches: excellent as an aperitif but also with pizza, fresh cheeses and mixed cold cuts
About him: light and super refreshing bubble! The grapes come from experimental 'minimal pruning' vineyards, a technique the Strohmeier would like to switch to in the long run. Super mix of fruits including grapefruit, melon, quince then move on to spices such as white pepper and herbs such as thyme and chamomile. Quench your thirst!
