We are in the Valencian community, inside the splendid village of La Portera, precisely in Utiel Requena, a country where we find the small and fascinating reality of Bodegas Cueva.

Surrounded by centuries-old vines and with the aim of obtaining natural wines with personality and able to make us feel unique and incomparable sensations, the legendary Mariano Taberner works who, with over 15 years of experience, mixes his knowledge as a winemaker and his great ability creative to obtain natural wines always fun and of excellent quality! Thanks to his vast knowledge of grapes and craft processes, he always manages to extract the essence of the Mediterranean to turn it into wine and this is what made us fall head over heels in love with his products!

Obviously, respect for the environment, biodiversity and health is one of the pillars of this company, with the vineyards certified by the Committee for ecological agriculture of the Valencian Community since many years now. In its over 200 square meters of cellar built in the eighteenth century, today it has an average production of 20,000 bottles, all obtained almost exclusively with the use of native vines, without clarification, filtration and addition of sulfur dioxide.
